What to expect from The Python Coding Stack

I write the articles I wish I had when I was learning Python programming.

I learn through narratives, stories. And I communicate in the same way, with a friendly and relaxed tone, clear and accessible.

My ideal reader is the intermediate learner keen to dive deeper into programming and Python, aiming to move to the next level. However, I’m also writing with the beginner in mind, especially the type of beginner who likes to “read ahead” to know what’s coming next. And there’s more for beginners at The Python Coding Place.

Hopefully, even the more expert programmers will find some insightful ideas and thought-provoking perspectives.

Most articles will be accessible in full for free when published. So you don’t need to pay anything to get most of the Python articles. Articles will be free for a six-month period before moving to the archive. Some of my longer series will remain free forever.

If you wish to support further and access the archive, there are two ways to achieve this:

  • If you’re only interested in the articles published on The Python Coding Stack, you can upgrade to a paid membership here on Substack. Substack only allows monthly or annual subscriptions (see next point for a subscription-free option)

  • If you’re interested in all my learning content, including video courses for beginners and intermediate learners, a members’ forum in which I can help and assist learners, weekly videos covering Python topics, and live workshops and sessions, you can become a lifetime member of The Python Coding Place. Lifetime membership is the only membership option available: a one-time fee gives you access to everything, forever. And since “everything” includes the articles on this Substack, you’ll get full access to The Stack when you become a member of The Place.

I’ll be using The Python Coding Stack as the place to write my articles about various intermediate Python topics from now on. If you follow me on X (formerly Twitter) already, then you know what to expect.
